Woven sailcloth with a brushed stainless steel deployant clasp. Sailcloth was originally developed for marine use. Tightly woven synthetic fibres that resist water, UV, salt, and abrasion while staying light on the wrist. It sits in a different place to rubber or leather. More structured than nylon, more breathable than FKM, more durable than canvas. On a Hamilton Khaki Field, it connects directly to the watch's military and expedition heritage without the moisture problems that come with a traditional fabric strap.

The Khaki Field was built for people who use their watches in the field. The stock canvas strap that ships on most Khaki references absorbs sweat, takes time to dry, and develops odour with extended wear. Sailcloth solves all three. It handles water without absorbing it, dries in minutes rather than hours, and keeps its structure through daily use. On a Jazzmaster or Murph, it introduces a textured, slightly sporty character that lifts the watch out of pure dress territory without losing refinement.

The deployant clasp is the upgrade over a standard pin buckle. It folds shut in one motion, distributes pressure evenly across the wrist, and protects the strap from the repeated stress that causes premature wear at the buckle point. Once sized, the watch goes on and comes off with a single click.

Complementary clasp engraving available. Up to three characters, laser engraved into the stainless steel for a permanent, precise finish.
