This vintage-inspired calfskin leather Omega Speedmaster strap replacement is crafted in collaboration with Morellato, Italy, bringing the distressed character and hand-finished detail of classic tool watch straps to the Moonwatch.
The Speedmaster has always had one foot in history. Worn on the moon in 1969, worn by astronauts, racing drivers, and pilots long before it became a collector icon. This strap leans directly into that heritage. Distressed calfskin tones, contrast stitching, and a tapered silhouette that mirrors the period-correct straps the Moonwatch was born on. On the wrist it looks like it belongs, because stylistically, it does.
What you see in the images is just the beginning. This calfskin is a living material. With daily wear it develops a natural patina, the leather softens, the distressed tones deepen, and small natural creasing forms along the flex points that gives the strap a character entirely its own. No two straps age identically. What arrives on your wrist becomes yours over time in a way that rubber and sailcloth never will.
Available in green, black, and brown. The olive green colourway on the black dial Moonwatch is a combination that Speedmaster collectors specifically seek out, and it is easy to see why.
Hand-finished details throughout, comfortable padding that keeps the 42mm case sitting perfectly balanced, and a brushed steel clasp that complements the Speedmaster's satin case finishing.
This is a Morellato collaboration strap. Italian tanneries, hand-selected hides, and construction that improves with every wear.
