FKM rubber with a sailcloth-embossed texture on the top surface and a brushed stainless steel deployant clasp pre-fitted. It looks like woven fabric but performs like rubber. Fully waterproof, sweat-resistant, UV-stable, and comfortable from first wear. The texture catches light in a way that plain rubber cannot, giving the strap a visual depth that suits the Speedmaster's finishing and dial detail.

The Speedmaster Professional is a 42mm chronograph with a heritage that runs from NASA mission control to the surface of the moon. It ships on a bracelet or a fabric strap. Both are fine. Neither is this. The sailcloth-effect texture connects to the Speedmaster's tool watch DNA without the moisture absorption, drying time, and odour problems of genuine fabric.
