Product Description
Replacement screw pins and screwdrivers for changing the strap on your Monocoque.
The Monocoque strap pins are a two-part threaded design. Each pin screws together through the strap and the case, holding it securely with none of the spring-bar slip you get on conventional straps. Because the pins are threaded rather than sprung, they need two screwdrivers to fit and release.
You only need this if you've lost or damaged your pins or tools.
Every Monocoque ships with its screw pins and the two-screwdriver kit included. You do not need to add this to your order when buying a Monocoque. This listing is here for the rare case where a pin or tool is misplaced and you'd like a replacement set.
How to change your strap
Place a screwdriver on each end of the screw pin. To release, either turn both screwdrivers in opposite directions at the same time, or hold one still and turn the other. To fit, reverse the action. The two-part pin separates and re-joins cleanly, so you can swap straps as often as you like.
