FKM rubber with a sailcloth-embossed texture on the top surface and a brushed stainless steel deployant clasp pre-fitted. It looks like woven fabric but performs like rubber. Fully waterproof, sweat-resistant, UV-stable, and comfortable from first wear. The sailcloth texture gives it visual depth and light-catching character that plain rubber cannot match. On a Portugieser, the textured surface adds a casual versatility that opens the watch up beyond its leather strap origins. On a Mark XX or Pilot's Chronograph, it connects to the Flieger heritage while handling daily wear better than the factory textile. On a Big Pilot 43, it softens the imposing case with a strap that sits lighter and more comfortably than the factory riveted leather.

The deployant clasp is what sets this apart from every sailcloth strap with a standard pin buckle. A pin buckle punches through the same hole daily, weakening the strap at the stress point. The deployant folds shut, distributes pressure evenly, opens in one motion, and keeps the strap in better condition for significantly longer. Once sized, the watch goes on and comes off with a single click. No threading. No fumbling. IWC owners are accustomed to the deployant experience from the factory straps. This delivers the same.

Seven colourways. Black is the universal IWC pairing and the safest choice across every collection. Brown suits the Portugieser's warm dial tones and gilt indices. Navy complements the blue Portugieser and the blue Big Pilot 43 without matching exactly. Grey works on the slate and silver dials across the Pilot's range. Khaki adds a military character that suits the Mark XX's RAF heritage. Orange and red are for contrast on darker dials. Cream pairs with the Portugieser's dune dial and warm lume.

Quick-release spring bars fitted as standard for tool-free changes. Compatible with IWC's EasX-CHANGE system on newer models. You do not need an IWC proprietary strap. Standard spring bars fit all current IWC models, including those with EasX-CHANGE.

Complementary clasp engraving available. Up to three characters, laser engraved into the stainless steel for a permanent, precise finish.

Important: The Big Pilot 43 is 21mm, not 22mm. This is the most common sizing error across aftermarket strap sellers. The 43mm case uses a 21mm lug width. If you order 22mm for a Big Pilot 43, it will not fit.
