The Blaue Acht Royal Pop Rubber Strap is a blue rubber strap and tech polymer wrist case for the AP × Swatch Royal Pop Blaue Acht. It converts your Royal Pop pocket watch into a wristwatch. The Royal Pop watch is not included — this is the case and strap only.

The wrist case is moulded from a high-density tech polymer with colour integrated into the material — it does not fade, scratch, or peel. The rubber strap is blue: soft-feel, tapered profile, hypoallergenic, hydrophobic, temperature stable.
Blaue Acht — German for "eight blue" — is the reference that started it all. Swatch's earliest Royal Pop teasers used blue as the hero colour. MGB Watches predicted this collaboration in January 2024, eighteen months before official launch. Blue was the colour we called. The Blaue Acht is the watch that confirmed it. This case and strap extends the blue to the wrist without interruption — the case head flows into the strap as a single continuous object.
The wrist case clips onto your Royal Pop case head via a precision-engineered locking interface. Installation takes approximately two minutes. No modification to the watch. Remove it whenever you want — your Royal Pop returns to its Swatch lanyard configuration in seconds.
This is the everyday wear option for Blaue Acht owners. The Monocoque is our British-made aerospace aluminium alternative. The Royal Pop Bracelet is our integrated articulated link option.
