Black sailcloth with white contrast stitching. The Ranger is a field watch. Black and white is the field watch colour language. No ornament. No warmth. Just function and contrast. The white stitch runs along both edges against the black sailcloth and reads the same way the Ranger's white numerals read against its black dial. It matches the intent of the watch without trying to dress it up or dress it down.

Woven sailcloth outer with a stainless steel deployant clasp. Sailcloth was originally developed for marine use. Tightly woven synthetic fibres that resist water, UV, salt, and abrasion while staying light on the wrist. On the Ranger, sailcloth sits in exactly the right place between materials. More structured than the factory fabric strap. More resilient than leather. More refined than a NATO. The Ranger is a watch that gets worn hard and this strap handles that without asking anything of the wearer.

The FKM rubber reinforcement at the adjustment notches is what gives this strap a longer life than standard sailcloth or nylon. The notch holes are where every fabric strap fails. The pin pushes through, the fibres fray, and within months the hole elongates and the strap loosens. FKM rubber bonded into each notch absorbs the stress, prevents fraying, and keeps the fit consistent over months of daily wear.

The deployant clasp folds shut in one motion. Once sized, the watch goes on and comes off with a single click. No threading. No fumbling. The clasp distributes pressure evenly across the wrist and protects the strap from the daily stress that pin buckles cause at the hole point. On a 39mm field watch that weighs under 90g, the deployant keeps the Ranger sitting flat and stable on the wrist all day.

Complementary clasp engraving available. Up to three characters, laser engraved into the stainless steel for a permanent, precise finish.
