The Collaboration Behind the Collection

Swatch and OMEGA announced the MoonSwatch in March 2022. The concept was straightforward — reinterpret the Speedmaster Moonwatch, the first watch on the moon, in Swatch's bioceramic material at a fraction of the price. The result was unprecedented. Launch-day queues stretched around city blocks. Every model sold out within hours. Secondary market prices hit three to five times retail before supply stabilised.

Four years later, the collection has expanded well beyond the original eleven. The addition of the moonphase complication on the 2024 Snoopy editions, the limited Moonshine Gold series, and the EarthPhase models have kept the collection evolving. Each new release brings its own design language while maintaining the 42mm case, quartz chronograph movement, and 20mm lug width that define the MoonSwatch.

Caring for Your MoonSwatch

The MoonSwatch is designed for daily wear, but it’s not fully waterproof. Light splashes are fine, though swimming or showers should be avoided.
