Product Description
Gabardine is a tightly woven twill fabric, originally developed in the 1880s by Thomas Burberry — the same construction used in his earliest weatherproof coats. The tight diagonal weave creates a smooth, structured surface that is lightweight, quick-dry and durable enough to hold its shape through daily wear and travel without stretching, bagging or absorbing moisture the way looser fabrics do. On the wrist it sits flat, breathes well and weighs almost nothing.
This strap is made from recycled gabardine — the same performance fabric, produced from reclaimed materials rather than virgin fibres. A considered material choice that does not compromise on durability or finish. The Speedmaster Professional has always been a watch built for purpose rather than display, and a fabric strap sits directly in that philosophy.
Available in four colourways: Sagebrush, Coal Black, Clay Brown and Ocean Blue, each with tonal stitching and a brushed stainless steel buckle. Quick-dry construction makes it the natural choice for travel, warm weather or any situation where rubber feels too heavy and leather feels too formal. Compatible with the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch 42mm and all standard 20mm Speedmaster references.
