The Lan Ba is the most restrained of the Savonnettes and arguably the most everyday-wearable watch in the entire Royal Pop collection. The naming reflects this: Lan means blue in Mandarin, Ba means eight, and the colour palette stays disciplined within a single blue family - blue dial, light blue bezel, blue crown, eight blue hex screws. From a distance the watch reads as monochromatic blue. Up close the tonal layering between the bezel and dial becomes the visual story.

The Savonnette format is the rarer of the two case styles in the collection. Crown at 3 o'clock rather than 12. A hinged hunter cover that protects the dial when closed and reveals the watch face when opened. A petite seconde subdial that the Lépine variants don't carry - a watchmaking detail exclusive to the two Savonnettes. Two Royal Pop variants take this format: Lan Ba and Otg Roz. Both are considered among the most collectible pieces in the launch.

The Royal Pop ships as a pocket watch by design. The Monocoque is our British-engineered aerospace aluminium wrist case for the Lan Ba Savonnette. Milled from a single block of 7075 aluminium at a precision engineering facility in Bicester, Oxfordshire. The same facility produces components for Formula 1, MotoGP, and aerospace clients.

The Monocoque is engineered for the Savonnette format specifically, with the locking interface positioned to accommodate the crown at 3 and the hinged hunter cover. The cover continues to open and close normally with the Monocoque attached. The Blue Aluminium Monocoque case is the natural tonal pairing for the Lan Ba's blue palette, extending the bezel colour across the wrist. The Silver Aluminium case is the neutral foundation for buyers who want the blue palette to stay focused on the watch itself. Five aerospace-grade aluminium case colours. Twelve FKM strap colours.
