Product Description
The K-Clip is the heart of the Monolock™ system, the proprietary interlocking mechanism that secures your Royal Pop inside the Monocoque.
Monolock is what makes the Monocoque work. Each Aluminium case is CNC machined to a 0.2mm tolerance, and the K-Clips are engineered to sit precisely within that tolerance. Two clips grip-fit into the internal cavities of the case. A moulded nodule on each clip lets your Royal Pop click into place with positive engagement and hold firm.
The precision is the point. The tolerance between the case and your Royal Pop is engineered so the watch is held entirely by the Monolock™ K-Clips, with no metal-on-metal contact against the Bioceramic. The watch sits secure, suspended within the aluminium, never touching it. That is what protects the integrity of your Royal Pop.
You only need to buy this if you've lost or damaged a clip.
Every Monocoque ships with its K-Clips fitted, plus a spare in the box. You do not need to add this to your order when buying a Monocoque. If you lose or damage a K-Clip within two years, email us and we'll post a replacement free. This listing is a spare pair for anyone who'd rather keep a full set to hand.

The Monolock™ interlocking system is proprietary to MGB Watches. Each K-Clip is additively manufactured in engineered polymer, a process that holds fine tolerances and lets us refine the Monolock geometry to an exact fit. The same approach used in engineering prototyping and precision components.
