How to Measure Your Wrist Size
Getting the right fit makes all the difference. Follow the steps below to measure your wrist accurately and ensure your strap or bracelet sits comfortably.
Using a Flexible Tape Measure (Recommended)
- Position Hold your hand relaxed, palm facing up.
- Wrap Place a soft measuring tape around your wrist, just above the wrist bone where your watch naturally sits.
- Check the Fit The tape should be snug but not tight. You should be able to slide one finger between the tape and your wrist.
- Record Note the measurement where the tape overlaps. This is your wrist size.
Using String or Paper (If You Don’t Have a Tape)
- Wrap Use a strip of paper or string and wrap it around your wrist in the same position as above.
- Mark Mark the point where the string or paper overlaps.
- Measure Lay it flat and measure the length to the mark using a ruler.
Fit Guidance
- Measure where you intend to wear your watch or bracelet.
- Measuring slightly above the wrist bone usually provides the most comfortable fit.
- For everyday comfort, allow 1–2 cm (or roughly a finger’s width) of breathing room.
- A strap should feel secure, not restrictive.
If you’re between sizes or unsure, sizing up slightly is usually the better option.
