New MoonSwatch Teaser: Are We Getting A Snoopy Earthphase, Moonshine Gold?

Swatch has just dropped a new teaser that might hint at the ultimate MoonSwatch – one that combines the best elements of all previous MoonSwatch releases into a single, standout model. And with any luck... its the return of the MoonShine Gold

In their latest Instagram animation, Snoopy returns once again. First, he playfully bounces the Earth from left to right. Then he strolls back across the screen – this time carrying the Moon, glowing in unmistakable gold.

It’s not just cute animation. It’s a breadcrumb trail.

Collectors familiar with the MoonSwatch Snoopy Moonphase and the limited edition Moonshine Gold drops know that when Swatch leans into symbolism, something big usually follows.

So what exactly are we looking at this time?

Could this be the long rumoured Snoopy EarthPhase MoonSwatch? Or are we about to see a Moonshine Gold Snoopy merge past favourites into one premium piece?

Recap: Swatch’s April Teaser (And Why This Is Different)

Back in April, Swatch shared a more subtle teaser, one that featured Snoopy bouncing the Earth and Moon like basketballs, even spinning the Earth on his finger like a seasoned NBA pro. At the time, many fans speculated it hinted at a new EarthPhase complication, possibly a follow-up to the hugely popular Moonphase Snoopy released in March 2024.

Interestingly, this teaser dropped around the same time Swatch launched its limited Pink Moonphase MoonSwatch. Sales for that model were reportedly slower than expected, and although the release was originally set to end on 16th April, it quietly continued until stock ran out. Meanwhile, the Snoopy teaser, which had sparked speculation about a new EarthPhase, disappeared without a trace, slipping into obscurity just as quickly as it appeared.

But this new teaser changes the tone completely. This time Whilst it is almost exactly the same, the colour of the moon has changed to gold!

  • The Earth is being bounced like a ball.
  • The Moon is golden.
  • Snoopy crosses the screen left to right , twice, suggesting deliberate symbolism.

This isn’t a coincidence. It’s a calculated tease, designed to build hype.

So what will the new MoonSwatch be? Our Thoughts!

Theory 1: Are We About to See the Snoopy EarthPhase MoonSwatch?

This is the most logical next move.

The Moonphase Snoopy MoonSwatch, launched in March 2024, was a massive hit. It marked the first MoonSwatch to feature a complication, blending Omega heritage with a playful, story-driven design that fans quickly fell in love with. Shortly after, Swatch followed it up with the EarthPhase model – which not only retained the Moonphase complication but introduced an additional Earthphase function. It was a bold move, making it the first watch of its kind to showcase both lunar and Earth complications in a single, bioceramic design.

Now, with the Earth being bounced in this teaser, and coming off the back of two Earth-focused visuals, we could be looking at:

  • A Snoopy EarthPhase complication – perhaps showing the Earth’s rotation or a dual-time concept.
  • A new blue and green colour scheme, possibly with Earth artwork on the dial.
  • A continued tribute to NASA, the Earthrise mission, or Snoopy’s return “home.”

Swatch has always blurred the line between design and narrative. If Moonphase was about dreaming, EarthPhase could be about grounding,  bringing Snoopy back from the Moon.

Theory 2: Could This Be a Return of the Moonshine Gold MoonSwatch?

Throughout 2023, Swatch released a series of Moonshine Gold MoonSwatches, each limited edition featuring a real Omega Moonshine gold-coated seconds hand. These drops were scarce, date-specific, and collectible – and instantly sold out.

This teaser could be signalling the return of that concept, but with a new Snoopy twist.
