One Strap, Every Watch: Why This Blue FKM Rubber Strap Belongs in Your Collection
Share
In our office, we get hands on with a lot of straps. Some look great on one watch but feel awkward on another. Others work for the gym but not everyday wear. But this one, our blue FKM rubber vented strap, keeps showing up on my wrist, no matter what I’ve got in the watch roll.
I’ve been wearing it for a few weeks now, swapping it across a MoonSwatch, an Apple Watch, and a Speedmaster. It just works. The comfort is spot on, it holds its shape well, and the vented back keeps things cool even when I’m out in the sun or heading somewhere in a rush.
A Strap That Actually Feels Good To Wear
We chose FKM rubber for a reason. It’s high grade, durable, and doesn’t go sticky or flimsy like cheaper rubber straps do. You get flexibility but with enough structure to feel secure. The vented channels on the back aren’t just for show either; they keep air flowing, especially handy if you’re wearing your watch through summer or on the move.
The blue colour was the first one we trialled properly. It’s deep, rich, and slightly sporty without clashing with the watch head. I’ve paired it with more than I expected, and it always adds a fresh, confident edge.
How It Looks On The Wrist
- On the MoonSwatch: I’ve been wearing it with the EarthPhase, and honestly, it transformed the look. The original strap was fine, but this gives it a tougher, more wearable vibe. It softens the bioceramic and brings in just enough contrast.
- On the Apple Watch: The dedicated connector version fits like a glove. I wore it to the gym one morning and straight into meetings that afternoon. It doesn’t scream fitness band, but it’s definitely up for that kind of use.
- On the Speedmaster: This is where it surprised me. I normally wouldn’t put a rubber strap on a Speedy, but this one added a rugged, tactical look without feeling out of place. Sometimes a change like that is exactly what a watch needs.
It Comes In More Colours, But This Is The One I'd Reach For
We’ve got it in other colours, black, white, a few seasonal tones, but this Royal blue is the one I find myself coming back to. It’s the most flexible for day to day use. Looks smart. Wears light. Easy to dress up or down.
If you’ve got more than one watch and want a strap that actually makes your rotation easier, this is the one. I’d happily take it on holiday and wear it across everything I pack. I try out a lot of straps for a living. This is one I’d pay full price for. If you’re looking for something that can move with you from MoonSwatch to Speedmaster to Apple Watch without missing a beat, this is it.
