Swatch x Omega Pink Moonphase UK Store Dates & Buying Guide

Swatch x Omega Pink Moonphase UK Store Dates & Buying Guide

The Swatch x Omega Pink Moonphase is due to launch on 1 April 2024, and anticipation is already building. With queues expected before sunrise and stock limited to a handful of stores across the UK and Ireland, getting your hands on one will take planning, patience and a bit of luck.

This guide covers everything we know so far, including confirmed UK store dates, what to expect on the day, and the tips collectors are sharing to increase your chances. Whether you are travelling to London, Manchester, Edinburgh or Dublin, here is how to prepare.

First things first, It is not online

Swatch has confirmed that the Mission to the Pink Moonphase is not available online from them directly (in line with all other Swatch x OMEGA MoonSwatch models). There is no click and collect, no delivery option, you will need to go in person to one of the selected stores on a release day. That exclusivity is part of the buzz, but it also means being strategic.

Top Tips to Secure Your Pink Moonphase

  • Get there early: Queues can start from 6am or earlier, and there is no guarantee on daily stock
  • Bring ID and payment: Most stores have a one watch per person rule
  • Be flexible: If you are near more than one city, you have more chances to try again
  • Watch social media closely: Some stores post live updates when stock has sold out
  • No queue guidance (yet): Swatch has not confirmed when customers should begin queuing, whether from store opening or a selected time during the day

How Long Should You Expect to Queue?

From what we saw with the Super Blue Moonphase release, watches were not available until after 5pm, but queues began forming around 7am, meaning some people waited over 10 hours. If you are planning a long haul queue, we recommend bringing:

  • A folding camping chair
  • A flask with tea or coffee
  • Snacks or a packed lunch
  • A power bank to keep your phone charged
  • A book, playlist, or podcast
  • Weather appropriate clothing e.g rain jacket, sunblock, or a spare layer

It might feel excessive, but seasoned collectors like us know comfort makes all the difference.

Why the Hype?

The Pink Moonphase is the fifth Swatch x Omega collaboration to feature a moonphase complication, following the success of both Snoopy editions, the Super Blue Moonphase, and the EarthPhase. But while it shares the same poetic sub dial at 2 o’clock, this version brings something entirely new.

Visually, it is one of the boldest MoonSwatch releases to date. A pink Bioceramic case, crown, pushers and attachment loop surround a black and silver pink opaline dial, finished with pink-accented chronograph hands and hour markers coated in Grade A Super LumiNova® for a vivid pink glow in the dark. Even the top pusher has a tiny embossed heart, a subtle nod to the pulsometer bezel, which lets wearers measure their heart rate.

Beyond the specs, this watch hits at a cultural moment. Pink watches are no longer a novelty, they are becoming a serious trend in luxury, with brands like Richard Mille, Audemars Piguet, Rolex and Tudor embracing the shade in recent years. As we highlighted in our Top 10 Pink Watches blog, pink is no longer about gender, it is about standing out.

At £270, the Mission to the Pink Moonphase offers one of the most expressive and detail rich MoonSwatches yet, and it is only available for a limited time.
