Terms and Conditions for "Try Before You Buy" Service

1. Service Overview:

MGBWATCHES.COM offers a "Try Before You Buy" service, allowing customers to borrow and experience selected MoonSwatch models for a daily rental fee of £14.95 This service provides an opportunity to evaluate our timepieces in your daily life before making a purchase decision.

2. Holding Deposit:

To secure your chosen watch, a full holding deposit equivalent to the value of the timepiece is required. This deposit acts as a security measure to ensure the safe return of the watch and to protect our inventory. The deposit will be refunded upon the return of the watch in its original condition, minus any applicable rental or damage fees.

3. Rental Fee:

The rental fee for the "Try Before You Buy" service is £14.95 per day. This fee will be deducted from your holding deposit if you decide not to purchase the watch. The rental period is limited to a maximum of one week (7 days). If the watch is not returned within this period, additional charges of £14.95 will apply.

4. Return and Purchase:

At the end of the rental period, you have the option to:

  • Return the Watch: Return the try-before-you-buy unit to us. Your holding deposit, minus the rental fees, will be refunded.
  • Purchase the Watch: If you decide to buy the watch, a brand new unit of the same model will be sent to you. The holding deposit will be applied towards the purchase price of the new watch.

5. Watch Condition and Use:

The watches available for this service have been previously worn and are offered in good condition. Customers are expected to handle the watches with care and return them in the same condition as received.

6. Damage and Loss:

In the event of damage or loss, MGBWATCHES.COM reserves the right to charge the customer for necessary repairs or the full replacement value of the watch. While we understand that general wear and tear is normal, if the watch is returned in a state of disrepair or has been clearly treated negligently, the full cost will be deducted from the holding deposit.

If the watch is lost, please contact us immediately to inform us. In the case of theft, please report the incident to the police, obtain a crime reference number, and provide this information to us promptly.

7. Shipping and Handling:

A shipping fee of £8.35 will be charged for sending the watch to you. However, the return shipping cost is covered by MGBWATCHES.COM and is free for the customer. Please ensure that the watch is securely packaged for return to prevent any potential damage during transit.

8. Eligible Watches:

The "Try Before You Buy" service is available for the following MoonSwatch models:

  • Mission to Neptune
  • Mission to the Moon
  • Mission to Mercury
  • Mission to Saturn
  • Mission to Pluto
  • Mission on Earth
  • Mission to Jupiter
  • Mission to the Sun
  • Mission to Venus
  • Mission to Mars
  • Mission to Uranus
  • Mission on Earth | Lava | Desert | Polar
  • Mission To MoonPhase Snoopy Black & White

Please note that the Mission To MoonShine Collection is excluded from this offering.

This "Try Before You Buy" service is exclusively available to customers within the United Kingdom.
