With just three days remaining until the bidding begins; live on Monday, 12th at 14:00 GMT, Sotheby's auction page now showcases all 11x lots.

Sotheby's have listed all lots with no reserve and they have added their estimated selling values:

  • 5,000 - 10,000 Swiss Francs (CHF)
  • 5,305 - 10,609 Euros (EUR)
  • 4,531 - 9,063 British Pounds (GBP)
  • 5,712 - 11,423 US Dollars (USD)
  • 20,978 - 41,957 United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED)

The Key Highlights of the lot

In 2023, the MoonSwatch collection received an update with the introduction of the "Mission to Moonshine Gold" editions. These 11x watches showcase a seconds hand coated in 18K Moonshine™ Gold, an exclusive alloy crafted by OMEGA, providing a refined and enduring alternative to traditional yellow gold.

The collection offers 11x stunning and unique Moonshine Edition watches for enthusiasts to enjoy, accompanied by a Navy Blue Flight Cases presentation box:

  • March 7 & April 6: The first Moonshine™ Gold Edition watch was introduced, a Mission to the Moon Watch with exclusive yellow gold seconds hand.
  • May 5 & 6: This Edition feature a seconds hand with a pink Super-LumiNova™ detail, paying homage to the Pink Full Moon of April.
  • June 3: The seconds hand showcases a floral pattern inspired by night-blooming flowers shaped like the full moon.
  • July 3: A strawberry pattern adorns the seconds hand as a tribute to the Summer Strawberry Moon.
  • August 1 (2 in Switzerland): Commemorating Swiss National Day, this edition celebrates the Swiss Made heritage of OMEGA x Swatch
  • August 30: Neptune Blue Moon. Drawing inspiration from the shining moonlight in a dark blue sky.
  • September 29: A seconds hand with a barley grain pattern honours the Harvest Moon, accompanied by a secret signature that glows in the dark.
  • October 28 & 29: This editions features a vintage feel lollipop seconds hand, paying tribute to the OMEGA Speedmaster CK 2998-3 FAP from 1961.
  • November 27: Inspired by the Beaver Moon, this edition feature a secret detail that glows in the dark and a seconds hand that appears to have been gnawed at.
  • December 27: Featuring a snowflake pattern as a homage to the Cold Moon.

All proceeds from each set will be fully donated to OMEGA's longstanding partner, Project Orbis International Inc., dedicated to combating avoidable blindness and vision loss globally.

11x Flight cases, 11x Cities

Each flight case has been on exhibition since Monday 5th in 11x OMEGA boutiques worldwide, featuring a coin & a loupe in the suitcase bearing the airport code of the city. Additionally, every watch will boast an engraving of the code on its band, making each piece truly unique. The flight case containing the watches will be on display until February 11 at the following boutiques:

As anticipation grows for the auction, the burning question on everyone's mind is: What price will these highly sought-after timepieces command? Are these estimates just an arbitrary number?
